Overview of Demon Slayer Season 1

The first season introduces Tanjiro Kamado, who becomes a member of the Demon Slayer Corps after a tragic event where his family is murdered and his sister Nezuko is transformed into a demon. To gain strength, he trains under Sakonji and successfully completes the 'Final Selection' to join the Demon Slayer team. During his journey, he encounters fellow demon slayers Zenitsu and Inosuke, forming a strong friendship. Demon Slayer – The Movie: Mugen Train

In this film, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke board the Mugen Train to aid Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku in battling a demon. While Kyojuro manages to defeat two demons, they all fall into a deep slumber due to the actions of another demon, Enmu. Despite Enmu's attempts to destroy their consciousness, Tanjiro and his friends fight back. After defeating Enmu, they face Upper Rank Three Akaza, leading to a fierce battle where Kyojuro suffers fatal injuries.

Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc

Tanjiro and Nezuko journey to the Swordsmith Village to repair Tanjiro's sword, where they meet two Hashiras: Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira, and Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira. During their stay, they discover a century-old sword. However, their peace is disrupted by the attack of two formidable demons, Gyokko and Hantengu. After a grueling fight, Tanjiro, alongside the Hashiras and Genya, manages to defeat the demons, and Nezuko gains the ability to walk in sunlight.

Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc

This arc showcases various Hashiras and their unique abilities. Tanjiro trains with several Hashiras, including Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira, and Muichiro Tokito, to enhance his skills for future confrontations. The audience learns more about Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, who tragically meets his end at the hands of Muzan, who also ensnares Tanjiro and others in the Infinity Castle, setting the stage for the upcoming film, 'Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc.'
